On the fifteenth day, we started our second trip, up north from Bombay to Ahmedabad and Mount Abu. We took the train from Bombay to Ahmedabad, which left before sunrise. In Ahmedabad, we stayed at Nowroji Hall, formerly the mansion of a wealthy Parsee industrialist. In Ahmedabad, it was wedding season. We had come to attend one wedding; meanwhile, another was underway in the grounds of Nowroji Hall.
