Day 4: Babulnath Temple, Bombay >

We started the third day by visiting Crawford Market, a large fresh food market in downtown Bombay, housed in a huge, purpose-built colonial-period building. Afterwards, we visited St. Thomas's Cathedral (not photographed), and then further along the peninsula the Afghan War Memorial Church, an interesting sandstone Gothic construction. Before lunch, we had a look at a Bene Israel Synagogue in the city centre, and met its friendly caretaker.
